Tracy Ostle has served as Chair of the Groves Association since November 2024 and has led The Foss Fairy Trail since 2021.
A resident of the Groves since 1998, Tracy moved to the area to be close to the River Foss and the surrounding natural environment. She has a deep appreciation for the historic streets of the Groves and is passionate about supporting and strengthening the local community.
Tim Brooks has been Treasurer of the Groves Association since 2024, has lived in the area since 2018 and has been the driving force behind the Groves Spring Festival. He has 40 years experience working in music education, performing and organising events. He has taught in several schools across York and North Yorkshire and for 20 years was chief music consultant and manager for York Arts Education. He now works as a freelance musician (composer, performer and teacher).
Alison Pinder has lived in York for 8 years and joined the Groves Association as Secretary in February 2025. She is an ace litter picker and when not walking her dog, she enjoys opera, theatre, cinema and reading.
